Not that this story is the best indicator--though this is certainly a fun story--but Little Ambrose really was Bob Bolling's star player. He is simply his most developed character. The only problem is he tends to throw both Little Archie and especially Jughead out of focus. And yet I don't think Little Ambrose worked as well on his own as a separate feature. No matter. He's a great character.
That's a good Li'l Jinx story as well and, no, I don't think this one feels padded out. I do find it kinda weird in a way she's 'Li'l' Jinx when juxtaposed with both Archie and Little Archie, but I guess Embryo Jinx would truly be a step too far.

Yeah L'il Jinx never grew up did she? Fun stories but I have to admit I wasn''t a Little Archie fan as a kid. I like them now though.....
