  1. I seem to need a few go-throughs to enjoy the work of Jesse Marsh. His story in ART IN TIME didn't impress me the first time I saw it, but I've grown to like it more & more as I've gone back to the book again & again. So I appreciate you posting this issue a second time so I can give more appreciation to these stories, too.

Do you know the short-lived DC title WASTELAND? There was a Bill Wray illustrated story titled something like 'The Enemy of Krishna' that looks like he was looking to Marsh for inspiration, not on the layouts, but as far as drawing style-wise went. Another issue had some very Sam Glazman-esque art in a story drawn by Timothy Truman.

  2. Marsh is a favorite of mine. His sense of design was wonderful. His inking could be rough sometimes. He drew wonder animals in his Tarzan Books for Dell. Alex Toth was a big fan of Marsh.

I do remember Wasteland. A very cool anthology series for DC.
