This is the peak period for MAD HOUSE in my opinion. It's not a MAD clone anymore, and it's not under Archie's shadow, either. Archie house style, yes, but more an alternative than just more of the same. I also like the Archie take on science fiction and fantasy. I like the humor, but I also like the focus on relationships.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I also enjoyed the ARCHIE'S PALS & GALS you posted the other day. The Lucey art on that first story was particularly appealing.
