I really enjoyed this. Sure, it's kinda nuts, but so were early JUSTICE LEAGUE comics where the Martian Manhunter's most frequently used super power was super breath. Bob Haney was a master of fun wonkiness, and--speaking of the JUSTICE LEAGUE--I'm a big fan of Mike Sekowsky's art. Mike Esposito supplies sympathetic inks as well. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI have this comic somewhere, I'm sure all beat up with no cover, since I was only 8 years old when I bought it! Sorry, but never was a fan of Sekowsky or Esposito. And that story, good lord! What kind of gas was that? Lol. Still, always loved Metamorpho!
