This is pretty solid Archie fare. OK, the ending of the last story makes you work too hard: it can be assumed that Jughead is in detention, but the reader shouldn't have to be assuming anything if the writer & artist have done their jobs properly. That excepting, everything's well-executed.
That second story is an interesting case in light of current gender politics. Meaning, is Jughead attracted to the boy in Rocky? And is Rocky actually a boy on the inside? Also, while Archie may be looking forward to Jughead becoming sexually 'normal', there's tacit acceptance for Jughead's--and new character Rocky's, I think--non-standard status quo. Neither is held up to ridicule, at least.

Jughead is an interesting character. At time he just seems to be interested in food.
