OK, now this story is what my image of Archie comics had always been before with Archie & Betty on one side versus Veronica & Reggie on the other.
Got to say that was one nonsensical plan on Betty's part, or were teen-age runaways really such a low priority in the seventies? Was this story the cover feature? Did maybe the cover come first? Oh, well... I guess we all need to remember that even if the hippie lifestyle is for losers it's better than being kidnapped.

Hey, it's not my idea... though commune-living wouldn't be at its peak of attractiveness right now, would it?
