  1. Out of many possible interpretations we get Archie the loser on full display in the first story. I was thinking that Archie would come up with the plan Jughead eventually had after the second theft, but he's too much of a duffer in this one to even keep track of how many times he's been outdone. I like the detail of Veronica knowing exactly what's going on but playing along just to mess with Archie despite the implicit idea that he's the one she wants and she's just using Reggie.

Li'l Jinx was nicely drawn and receives a mental rimshot at the end.

The last story lessens Archie's loser status to the extent that it increases everyone else's, especially Reggie's. Not that I think he was, but doesn't Svenson look like he was drawn by another hand? It just looks like a different style than the other characters to me, though 'the Bee' kinda straddles the fence. First impressions, at least.

  2. Svenson does indeed look different but I'm sure it was Harry Luvey art. Around this time Lucey sort of gave Reggie a different hairstyle...kinda weird but it was the 70's.
