I've always liked the pairing of Ditko & Mastroserio--my second favorite inker of Ditko after Ditko himself--and with the second Boyette/Mastroserio art job I've seen I can say I like that pairing, too. It takes talent to compliment--to add to--such idiosyncratic artists and yet allow the art to stay true to their visions. And yet again, you can see Mastroserio's hand in the art, too.
My favorite Wood collaboration is actually Grandenetti/Wood. I remember reading something along the lines of if you take a cello and a flute and have them play the same notes at the same time you create a third instrument. That's how I feel about the best of the Grandenetti/Wood art jobs.
