That's a pretty talky strip. Those word balloons take up a lot of space on the page, and their boxy shapes are a bit off-putting. The dialog as well is of a 'This is true. This is true.'-variety. Maybe it's all meant as clues that both main characters are monsters?
Anyway, it's nice expressive artwork by Grandenetti with the snow looking great. I really like the way he drew the four-by-four for some reason, though it does receive a strange emphasis. The monster designs are a little on the goofy side, but they have character.
Since you've been posting Toth's Eclipso stories, I wonder if you have any access to Grandenetti's Spectre stories. I've found isolated images & pages on the web but never full stories. They are, of course, overshadowed by the Adams & Aparo ones, but I'm curious to see them.

It's a weird tale but I like it. Grandenetti was great.
ReplyDeleteI am going to look around for those Grandenetti Specter stories. I have never seen them.
