A lot of people rightly remember Reed Crandall for his horror & crime work at EC, but there was an interview with George Evans saying the EC guys themselves valued him for his work on BLACKHAWK. It looks he really did have his heart with the military stuff, because I think this is even better than the horror he was doing for Warren at the same time.
ReplyDeleteStory-wise this was interesting enough to send me off to at least Wikipedia to find out more about Benedict Arnold, so good job from Archie Goodwin, too.
I do like Crandall's horror stories a lot too....
