This reminded me of Stardust The Super Wizard, wild, unpredictable, make up the plot as you go along. For example, each power of The Phantom was counteracted by The Brute without any hint to the comic reader that The Brute had such countermeasures.

These 60's Archie superheroes were weird fun. The series lasted only a couple of years but they were memorable.
